Candle Blow: Birthday Wish ("the app") is an offline app: you enter an age, blow out (or tap) candles on a virtual cake, and see a small celebration. This page explains what data is and isn't collected when you use it.
The app itself does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server — it has no backend and no user accounts. The only data saved is your chosen display language, stored locally on your device and never sent anywhere.
Everything else — the age you enter, candle/cake state, blow strength — exists only in memory while the app is open and is discarded when you close it.
If you allow microphone access, it is used solely on-device to detect the strength of your blowing so candles can be extinguished by blowing into the microphone. Audio is never recorded to a file, stored, or transmitted anywhere. If microphone access is denied or unavailable, the app falls back to letting you tap candles instead.
The app displays ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect information such as your advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and app usage/interaction data. This data collection and use is governed by Google's own policies, not by us directly:
Depending on your region, you may have choices around ad personalization through your device's ad settings (e.g. Android Settings → Ads, or iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking).
This app is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us so we can address it.
Because the app does not transmit personal data to any server we control, there is no app-managed remote storage of your information to secure. Any data handling associated with ads is performed by Google under its own security and privacy practices.
